Medicare rebate $85.20 (with GP Mental Health Care Plan).

A Mental Health Plan covers up to ten sessions.

Bulk-billing is no longer available at Shalom Counselling. Medicare Mental Health Hubs offer no-cost counselling services.

Your credit card details will be requested prior to the first session. Your card may be charged cancellation fees as indicated below. Your credit card details will be securely stored digitally in a health management system, Halaxy.

Cancellation policy

For cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice, 50% of the full fee will be charged.

For cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, the full fee will be charged.

Non-attendance will incur a full-fee charge.

Forty-eight hours’ notice applies to business days. For example, a 9am Monday appointment needs to be cancelled on the previous Thursday at 9am, or before, to avoid a cancellation fee.

My cancellation fees are necessary due to clients not showing up for their appointments or cancelling on the day. This fee is charged for missed business opportunities.
